Received today an e-mail from DAR with recap of Nathaniel Hammond's service, (as was submitted on a member's application who claimed William Gallop as ancestor.) The bad part is that you can only ask for a copy of the application and cannot get a copy of the supporting documentation.

Their records say he did not have a pension. Which explains why the National Archives could find no pension file. Maybe I need to ask for his military service records from the Archives?
